Can electric bikes be taken on trains?
Yes, our electric bikes can be taken by train and are treated in exactly the same way as conventional bicycles. For added convenience our folding electric bikes are treated as ‘luggage’ by most rail companies when folded (just like their non-electric counterparts). A carry bag or cover is advisable when carrying a folded electric bike on trains but is essential on Underground trains (particularly in the central London area) and on buses – you can order a carry bag directly from us with your electric folding bike or by clicking here.
