Can employers search for and view my details? How is control maintained?
The ATA is not a commercial recruiter and as such does not actively or passively promote any particular individual to any organisation. It is an initiative which is designed to make it easier and more efficient for individuals looking to access relevant career opportunities and a means of assisting member organisations to find high quality industry people. Once you have submitted an initial profile you will be informed of jobs that you are suited for and only you can decide if you want to be considered. Employers are not able to search any database and gain access to the names of any possible candidates. It is a candidate centric process, which has been designed to keep you informed about suitable opportunities but at the same time ensuring you retain control over your privacy.
