Can Fern Leaf Media create custom videos on Blu-ray discs for high definition televisions?
Yes, but with limitations. We can create Blu-ray discs for widescreen and progressive scan television systems; however, please note that any video shot in the 4:3 standard aspect ratio will be ‘matted’ against a black background, with black rectangles on both horizontal sides of the video; as well, such video will not be the same high quality as normal high definition video. Additionally, high definition video requires a high definition video camera. Therefore, the source footage will need to have been shot with one of these cameras. You will also need a high definition television in order to play back the video in high definition quality. If you have source video shot with a high definition camera then we can keep the high definition quality throughout the entire process of creating your video. As well, any video consisting of only photographs, graphics, and high definition quality audio can be completed in a high definition format.
