The ratio of the length of the index finger to the ring finger is smaller for men than for women. In men, a smaller ratio, meaning the two digits are more similar in size, is thought to be associated with higher testosterone exposure before birth. A new study shows that men with lower, more masculine, finger length ratios are more likely to be physically aggressive.
