Can Finger Length Predict Who Is Aggressive?
March 3, 2005 — The next time a man angrily points a finger at you, you may want to take note of the length of that finger. Men generally have shorter index fingers than ring fingers. The ratio of the length of the index finger to the ring finger is smaller for men than for women. In men, a smaller ratio, meaning the two digits are more similar in size, is thought to be associated with higher testosterone exposure before birth. A new study shows that men with lower, more masculine, finger length ratios are more likely to be physically aggressive.
