Can Governments nominate “secondary” National Focal Point for the Cartagena Protocol (CPB-NFPs)?

0

Under Article 19 of the Protocol, Governments are requested to designate one CPB-NFP to liaise with the Secretariat. The Secretariat can therefore register only one Focal Point per country. However, with regard to the Secretariat’s communications to Governments, the Secretariat can copy its correspondence to any other person named by the Focal Point.
