The reason I asked if you had the music files on your computer was to make sure that you wouldn’t lose the files. Deauthorizing a computer does not delete the files; it merely makes them unplayable on that computer. To deauthorize all of those remote computers you used, open iTunes, and click on the iTunes Store item in the left sidebar. Click on your account name button in the upper right; you’ll be prompted for your Apple ID and password, and then you’ll see your iTunes account information. At the bottom of the first section, it will display how many computers you have authorized; if you have 5 authorized, a Deauthorize All button will appear to the right. Click that, and you’ll get a confirmation and an alert. Now, on your home computer, in iTunes go to the Store menu and select “Authorize Computer…”. Enter your Apple ID and password, and your purchased music should become playable again; if you go back to view your account info as above, you should see one computer authorized.
