Can I borrow books online?? Is there an online library in the UK?

Some librarys do have an on-line service where you can read books on-line. I don’t think there is an UK wide one just try your local library. If it is an old book you could try sites like http://www.gutenberg.org or http://www.thefreelibrary.com they have books online where the copyright has run out – authors like Dickens, Austen etc. I do have to admit however that i do not like reading books from a screen. The actual paper version is much better.
