Can I copy text from a regular MS Word document into a DTM document?

Yes. You can simply select and copy text from a standard MS Word session and paste it into a DTM document. Be aware that besides the text, a lot of layout information (like style and font information) will be copied into the DTM document. If you want to copy just the text, make sure you select the “Paste special” option from the “Edit” menu in the DTM document, and select “Unformatted text”.
