Can I feed nuts eg peanuts to my pig ?

0

I do not feed any type of nut [including also things like sunflower seeds] to my guinea pigs for a couple of reasons: 1.They have a high fat content and so could lead to your pig becoming overweight and 2. They are also considered a choking hazard. The best diet to feed your guinea pig is a proper Guinea Pig dry feed mix/pellet with added Vitamin C, plenty of hay, fresh veggies and fresh water. Refer to Feeding page for further info.
