Answer Hi Pat, Oh please do not use your oven! No, do not fire cone 6 or ANY cone firing clay or glaze in a self cleaning oven or any oven for that matter. As a Professional Sculptor and Ceramist, I use a KILN to fire clay and professional glazes. Ovens do not reach the temperatures KILNS are made to fire clay and glazes, and glazes move when firing. Go on line to look at hobby kilns if interested in firing clay and glazes. Some kilns only fire to a certain temperature so if purchasing, make sure the kiln fires to the highest cone the clay you want to use fires. Polymer clay is the only plastic clay I am aware of used in an oven. There are hobby glazes that can be fired in an oven but I am not familiar with it. I use “cones 01 to 10”, which are professional firing cones used in a kiln for firing clays and glazes. I do not have knowledge on this type of plastic clay other than this is not a clay.
