Can I get old ERS data for long-term investigations and comparison with Envisat in the frame of the AO?

All projects selected in the framework of the Envisat AO shall be based on the use of Envisat data. However, the use of ERS data shall be possible in support of an approved Envisat AO proposal, in the same condition as Envisat data (i.e., free of charge), either in the preparatory phase (e.g., while waiting for Envisat data), or during implementation phase (use of both Envisat data and ERS archived data) of the principal investigator’s project. It shall be noted that provision of ERS data will be made within the operational and financial constraints of the ERS programme, and will be analysed on a case by case basis. We would like to stress that one of the objectives of the Envisat mission is to ensure the continuity with the ERS missions, therefore proposals going in this direction will be welcome.
