No. Unlike traditional floating floors, Avaire has a slip resistant rubber overmold that will make it very difficult to install over a laminate pad without tearing it. Installing an additional pad will allow the tiles to move more than intended. If you want to install a pad, choose the Avaire Standard Collection.
