I know that the Army is not accepting waivers right now, but check with a Recruiter and they can tell you when it will open back up. Here is what the Reg says, but keep in mind that need dictates policy so the Regulation only covers minimum requirements. This is to say that an applicant who fits the below description will need a waiver to get in, but if the Army doesn’t need more people than are actually joining, they may not approve the waiver. AR 610-210 4–7. Serious criminal misconduct a. A waiver is required for any applicant who has received a conviction or other adverse disposition for a serious criminal misconduct offense. b.
