Can I process both Meteosat-8 Rapid Scan and Meteosat-9 full-scan data?
Yes, by using two instances of the MSG Data Manager you can process two independent data streams. However, these two instances must be completely separate, installed in a different directory, and with different file names. It’s a little complicated, so please follow the steps carefully and avoid overwriting your existing data.
