Can I program system restore not to monitor a particular drive?

0

Yes, as long as it is not the system drive. But, you can turn off monitoring to other partitioned drives. Here’s how: • Start>> Control Panel • Double click the System icon • Click the System Restore tab • On a single partitioned drive, it is only possible to turn off system restore all together by placing a checkmark in the box titled: Turn off system restore on all drives. But if you have a multi-partitioned system, you can isolate a certain drive from being monitored by simply selecting that particular drive (it will now be highlighted) and then click the “Settings” button (see fig.#1). • Place a checkmark in the box titled: Turn off system restore on this drive.
