Can i put together my small turtle and small water snake together?
Hello Paolo, It would be important to identify the exact type of turtle and snake, not only for this question but in order to give them proper care. In general, turtles almost always carry bacteria and other internal micro-organisms that are harmless to turtles but deadly to many snakes…this caused great problems in mixed species zoo exhibits in the past. It is possible to clear turtles of these organisms, but that would require a fecal study and medication.
