If you want to record a different programme from the one you are currently watching, you will have to record the normal terrestrial TV signal or use a second Digibox (and 2nd smart card if required for that programme). Some Sky PPV movies are protected from being recorded by a “Macrovision” system which is built into all Digiboxes. You can buy a so-called “Macrovision Buster” box from various suppliers (not SatCure).
