Can I remove the Picomotor™ from a motorized mount, such as the Model 8807?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to remove the Picomotors from our motorized mounts. The Picomotors are permanently epoxied into the mount frame, so it is not possible to remove the Picomotors without causing damage to the Picomotor and the mount. Similarly, our non-motorized mirror mounts (such as the 9807, 9813 and 9855) use 1/4-80 adjustment screws that are also epoxied into the frame of the mount. So, it is not possible to remove or replace the adjustment screws in these mounts.
