No. Resizing the photo partition is done by repositioning and reformatting the partition, so any existing data in the partition will be lost. If you want to preserve the photos, copy them to your PC’s hard drive first using either the ReplayTV photo software or the extract_rtv program. Then, after the upgrade is complete, copy the photos back to the ReplayTV using the ReplayTV photo software. • Can I use my Win2000 computer to do the upgrade? Yes.
