One minute of dictation equals approximately 1MB of disk space, because ViaVoice for Windows saves your original dictation audio. A two page document could be as large as 30-40MB of disk space. Therefore, you will be limited not only on the size of the document you want to save but also how many documents you could save as a result of the size. Since these files are so large, they can take a long time to save, especially if you are using a parallel port attached drive. We recommend that you save the file to your hard drive and then use a file copy command to copy them to your removable drive.
