A. You can scan the file as a tiff group4 or jpeg or PDF which can be imported by version 2000 and higher. This is not a vector file, like *.dwg, you will only be able to use it as a background layer, but you should be able to trace over it to create a *.dwg vector file, with the raster file as a layer.
