This regular yearly meteor shower will reach maximum activity tonight and can be seen from anywhere in the northern hemisphere. The best time to look is after midnight. That is because the morning side of Earth is hitting the meteor stream head on, while the evening side is looking back at the stream. Looking for meteors in the early evening is like looking for bugs to splat on the back window of your car.
