Can I start zim automatically when I log in?
Most desktops allow you to specify commands to run on startup. You can just autostart the zim daemon using: “zim –daemon”. This will speed up how quickly zim starts later on. To open a notebook in the background you probably want to enable the TrayIcon plugin, set a default notebook and use: “zim –daemon –iconify _default_”. This will open your default notebook and hide it in the background.
