It is not known if Cimzia® (certolizumab pegol) passes through breast milk in humans. The manufacturer of Cimzia recommends avoiding Cimzia while breastfeeding. Therefore if you are breastfeeding, you should talk with your healthcare provider before taking Cimzia.
