Can I transfer between streams in the Petroleum Engineering, Geological and Chemical Engineering Technology (PGC) cluster?

It is possible to transfer to another stream within the PGC cluster of programs, provided the student can establish credit for all applicable courses. Transferring from Geological Technology to the Petroleum Engineering or Chemical Engineering Technology programs typically involves picking up missed courses (usually Fluid Mechanics PNT154 or CMT154) which are available as full-time courses in Semester 1 each year or via distance delivery (not including the lab component). Transfer requests are determined primarily by space availability and secondarily by the students academic performance. See the Chair if you wish to be on a transfer request list.
