Can I Use a Prepaid Visa Gift Card As A Debit Card?

0

You’ll only get a pin number if you buy a reloadable prepaid Visa gift card, and you get the pin when you call the 1-800 number on the back of the card and activate it. The card can be swiped like a credit card, or you can use the pin and get cash back like a debit card. It doesn’t matter where you buy the card. It could be CVS, Wal-Mart, Target, etc. If you buy a regular prepaid Visa gift card, it can only be used like a credit card, and when the money runs out on it, the card is done and you cut it up and throw it out. (But make sure you really spent it all! Any cashier can check the amount left.) The links below have a lot of detail about the cards.
