E-Detective system supports Bridge Mode, Sniffer Mode and Mirror Mode of Operation. However, the most recommended Mode of Operation is by using Mirror Mode. Please take note that by using a Mirror Mode or Sniffer Mode, it would require a switch that has port-mirroring capability. A hub can be used as a replacement for port-mirroring capable switch as a hub broadcast traffic to all ports.
