Can I use LightSpeaker for rear surrounds with my existing home theater system?

A. Yes, you can use LightSpeakers as surround speakers in a Home Theater system if you have an audio video receiver that not only has speaker wire connections for the surround channels but also has line level “Pre-Outs” for those channels as well. Connect those surround left and right “pre outs” to the LightSpeaker transmitter’s separate left and right inputs in one of the two available zone inputs. The zone you choose should only have the LightSpeakers being used as surround speakers. The connection from your receiver to the transmitter can be made with a standard “RCA” stereo audio cable. Set one LightSpeaker as “Left” and the other as “Right’. Set and leave the volume level of the “surround” LightSpeakers at about one half their maximum volume, then adjust the volume to those surround channels with the receiver’s individual speaker level adjustments in the setup menu (see receiver owner’s manual for channel level adjustment).
