Can I use Multiscreen plates in Fluorescence Assay Applications?

0

Multiscreen plates can be used for both standard and time resolved fluorescence. For fluorescence applications the best plate material is black acrylic. Clear plastic (styrene or acrylic ) also can work well for many applications. Opaque ( Barex ) plates give very high background. In terms of membrane selection, standard fluorescence works best with our PTFE and polycarbonate plates, though other membrane types could work depending on the assay. With time resolved fluorescence most membranes give low background and work fine.
