Yes. When doing so, it is important to remember that a multistage pump behaves very differently from a single stage pump. Due to the low flow and non-overloading design of Armstrong’s VMS pumps, pressure sequencing (Option O) is highly recommended over the standard current sensing sequencing. Additionally, if current sensing must be used, Hydrosaver sequencing (Options S, T, and U) cannot be used due to a lack of adequate control. VMS pumps fit the 6700 series booster configuration.
