Can I use Teflon tape on the fuel deliver component fittings?

Using Teflon tape is not recommended as it can cause clogs which can damage your fuel system or engine and void the warranty on your AEM High Volume Fuel Delivery component. We include crush washers with our fittings to eliminate the use of sealing tapes or liquid thread locker.
