A. The SDR4xx series DVRs should not be used as a multiplexer VCR replacement. The SDR4xx series DVRs do not contain multiplexer interface protocols. If used with a multiplexer, the camera images will not “sync” to the recorder and will be displayed on the monitor switching in a fast sequential manner. The uses of the A-CDVR80 single-channel recorder should be used as the VCR replacement.
