Yes. WorkRoll’s e-mail-integration features are optional. But remember, all you need to enable these features is an account on an outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server, and if you ever send e-mail to people, chances are that you have one. If you exclusively use web-based e-mail services such as Hotmail or Yahoo Mail, then you may not have an SMTP account; if this is the case, your ISP probably offers SMTP accounts for free; if not, contact WorkRoll, or call (toll-free) 877-247-4818. Also, WorkRoll.com can host your WorkRoll installation if you don’t wish to host it yourself; if you opt to have WorkRoll.com host your installation, email-server access is included.
