Yes, if you are an international student who is approved for either F-1 Optional Practical Training (OPT) or J-1 Academic Training (AT) after graduation, you are eligible to purchase coverage at the regular student rate for the duration of your OPT or AT. Please contact the Benefits office at (517) 353-4434 or 1407 S. Harrison Ste. 140 for special enrollment instructions. When your OPT or AT is complete, you are then eligible for continued coverage as described above.
