Can Lean-N-Clean® / Acidgone® give me diarrhea?
No, Lean-N-Clean® / Acidgone® does not contain herbal laxatives such as Senna Leaf, Cascara Sagrada, or Rhubarb. It possesses the property of stool-softener. It does not irritate your intestinal mucosa like other harsh stimulant laxatives. You may experience more frequent bowel movements. That is normal and even beneficial. Having bowel movements 2-4 times a day is normal as long as your stool is soft but not runny. Most people eat 2-4 times a day. If you have only one bowel movement a day, this indicates that food residues have stayed in your colon longer than they should. However, people who have impaired sphincter muscles might find their stool too loose after taking Lean-N-Clean® / Acidgone®.
