Can liquid material (sludge, watery foodstuff) be processed in a BiobiN?

0

Liquid waste needs to be mixed with other organic and carbonous materials to be effectively processed in the BiobiN. Although moisture is important in the composting process, liquids themselves will not generally compost. A mixture of cardboard, paper, woodchips and/or sawdust needs to be mixed with the liquid sludge to provide the carbon for the composting process. Biobins are not designed for liquid containment and transportation, thus a maximum liquid content of 5% is recommended.
