Can one pop in tent pegs with a croquet mallet?

Oh, yes my Dear Lady, Fortunately there has been precedence set in this matter. The late King Edward was in a similar situation (however his mallet was not in police custody it was just missing). He was hosting an annual event on Jersey Island. It was his annual Scotch tasting summit for finding peace in our time (actually his time not our time). The weather had taken a turn for the worse. His pavilion that sheltered his Scotch tasting summit was in peril of being blown down. The Kaiser, the Queen Mum and so many others were present. The pavilion (came from India with silk carpets etc.) was about be blown over. King Edward took matters into his own hands and got everyone to pitch in and secure the pegs with crochet mallets (it was all that was available). The Kaiser was useless since he had only one functional arm. The rest rallied and were successful in keeping the pavilion in tact and the summit was able to carry on. Last, use only hickory crochet mallets as the ones made from pear w
