The last couple of weekends have been very pleasant for Arsenal, as they have gone from second in the league to five points clear at the top, having won both of their matches and seen both Manchester United and Chelsea fail to win either of theirs. Their title destiny is in their own hands and they’ll travel to Old Trafford in the FA Cup this weekend in very high spirits. Emmanuel Adebayor is in a rich vein of goalscoring form after netting in his last nine matches and the Gunners have well and truly put the trauma of their Carling Cup thrashing at Tottenham Hotspur behind them. The challenge for Manchester United this week is to bounce back just as well from a similarly painful derby defeat at Old Trafford on Sunday.
