Can sad emotions make you feel physically ill?

I think from previous answers, you are getting the idea that sad emotions can certainly make you feel physically ill. Yes, and it can make you look tired, especially when you are losing sleep thinking about the matter. Not only that, chronic depression can lead to disease – imo. I have seen it happen too many times not to believe that there is most definitely a link between the two. I do think that staying mentally healthy is equally as important as staying physically healthy. I’m wondering if you asked this question because you are feeling physically sick due to sadness or a belief that you made a wrong decision about something. If so, I would recommend that you get outside and do something physical – walk, run, play a sport – something to get the endorphins flowing in your brain. It will help you sort out things better too.
