SMART911 will not impact any device on your PSAP network and SMART911’s workstation software will not impact any software applications used on a call taker’s workstation. The SMART911 workstation software consists of a single executable file that does not interact with systems other than SMART911 devices. The application is small and simple; in fact, it can be run from a floppy disk. If necessary, the application can be completely deleted from a workstation, leaving no remnants or hidden files.
