Due to its anti-inflammatory properties, serrapeptase has been shown in clinical studies to benefit chronic sinusitis sufferers. Japanese researchers evaluated the effects of serrapeptase on such patients. Patients were given 30 mg/day orally for four weeks. An improvement was noted in sinus conditions and patients had to blow their noses less frequently.
