Can Steamloc work under negative pressure condition?

0

In case of negative pressure difference no condensate is removed, not by steam traps, not by Steamloc. Condensate can flow back into the application, which can be restricted by a check valve. As a solution to drain such conditions one could install atmospherical discharge to temporarily collect condensate or one could use a pump behind Steamloc. Steamloc handles all positive pressures while the pump takes over for the negative ones. A benefit for this line-up is the protection of the pump – it never has to deal with the high pressure condition which obviously improves the pump life-time.
