Can Thailands tourism recover?
Dear Bugger – It is sort of amazing citing the problems here and yet there is a uniqueness to Thailand that will continue to draw tourists and retirees and that is contained in the people – yes, some love them, some hate them, real smiles false smiles, I have heard it all – but most of the people I know have better than good experiences and long to return. I was surprised how quickly Phuket recovered after the Tsu. I think there is a remarkable amt of resiliency and combined with the tourists short memories, it will recover in line with the world economy..
