Currently, there are no plans to host an electronic recycling day in Oak Forest. However, the city encourages residents to take advantage of similar events in neighboring tow, ns. On Monday, April 13, Consolidated High School District 230 is hosting an electronic recycling event from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the receiving docks at the following schools: Andrew High School (9001 W. 171st Street in Tinley Park), Sandburg High School (13300 LaGrange Road in Orland Park) and Stagg High School (8015 W. 111th Street in Palos Hills). Residents can drop off electronics, including computers, monitors, memory sticks, printer cartridges, laptops, hard drives, cell phones, and fax machines. Televisions will not be accepted.
