Can the Glideslope (GS) needle on the nav indicator connected to the KNR-634A be stowed out of view when not in use?
Yes. Please follow these instructions to set up the GS needle position in VOR mode. – Remove power to the KNR-634A unit – Locate the flat head screw on the lower left side of the unit with the connectors – Remove the screw and locate the black switch inside (note: switch is delicate) – For the GS bars to In View in VOR mode, set the switch in the Down position – For the GS bars to be Out of View in VOR mode, set the switch in the Up position.
