Can the Handmaster Plus aid stroke recovery?
Handmaster Plus (soft) stimulates ALL of the peripheral nerves to the hand and, thus, is the leading hand exercise choice in stroke rehabilitation. Patients and therapists alike are afforded the freedom of unattended therapy (i.e. cords stabilize product to the patient’s hand). Because hand motions continuously reverse (i.e. flexion/adduction followed by extension/abduction), Handmaster Plus is an excellent option to stimulate and re-train nervous system coordination in all upper extremity neuropathy treatment protocols.
