Can the Safe-Lock micro test tubes be used in a microwave oven?

0

Safe use of Safe-Lock micro test tubes in a microwave oven is guaranteed up to a sample temperature of less than 95 °C. The material of the tube, polypropylene is also stable at higher temperatures. But the lid will no longer be able close reliably due to the increased pressure in the tube (boiling liquids), and therefore we are not able to guarantee safe use at sample temperatures above 95 °C.
