Can the Superuser use the pin-code recorded in the profile menu?
The pin-code recorded in the profile menu can be utilized by the Superuser if the “Log in without Smart Card” box is checked. The profile name will then appear on the ZignX unit text screen menu; the Superuser must enter the pin-code that was originally recorded in the profile menu. This feature will not remove the Smart Card profile user setup because accessing these profiles through a Smart Card is still possible. The pin-code recorded onto the Smart Card can be a different pin-code and will apply when accessing a profile via Smart Card. This special setup process allows the Superuser to access any of their created profiles directly from the ZignX keypad. The process also allows the Superuser to take advantage of the two separate pin-codes. If the Log in without Smart Card” box is left unchecked, the pin-code recorded onto the Smart Card supersedes the pin-code recorded in the profile menu setup because ZignX checks and verifies the pin-code recorded on the Smart Card before giving a
