Yes when the debit file is uploaded the Utility Standing Instruction can be declined due to the following reasons. • No Credit Limit available on the Barclaycard • Invalid Barclaycard Number provided by the customer or the Barclaycard may be closed or reissuedIn either case an SMS will be sent to the customer informing him that the transaction has been rejected. In case of Invalid Numbers – the Barclaycard will be closed or reissued in which case the operations team will either deregister the SI in the system or update with the new Barclaycard number.
