Can vegans eat prawn cocktail crisps?

Walkers (Lays I believe outside the UK) Prawn Cocktail crisps are vegan – at least they are in the UK. Just look at the ingredients to see whether they contain any animal ingredients or ingredients derived from animals. Lots of crisps (and other foods) make it easier nowadays by stating they are vegan but just because it doesn’t say it on the pack doesn’t mean it isn’t. All crisps are different though and sometimes a product changes its ingredients so ceases to be vegan – so always check. I’ve had spare rib, chicken, roast beef etc. crisps that have been vegan in some brands of crisps but then salt and vinegar isn’t vegan in another brand! I’ve yet to find a vegan crisp that is cheese/cheese and onion flavoured though – as far as I know one doesn’t exist, if anyone knows of some let me know!
